Daily Dog walks
Walks with your pup(s) can range between 30 minutes to one hour, and are typically done in your neighborhood. Whether you have a puppy, a rambunctious teenager or a slower senior pup, we will adjust to their individual speed and needs during the walk. And if you have a particularly high energy or reactive dog, we recommend asking us about taking your pup on a hike to get that extra energy out! *Rates vary depending on number of dogs, location of visit & length of visit.
- 30 minute walks for one dog start at $20/visit
- 1 hour walks for one dog start at $30/visit
- $5/visit is added for each additional dog
- Additional fee may apply based on home location
Aquatics & Exotics visits
These visits typically range from 20 minutes up to one hour and can vary greatly (in time and fee) depending on the species & husbandry requirements.
Husbandry services that can be provided include:
- Basic habitat maintenance -- feeding, cleaning & removal of waste, misting, drinking water changes
- Substrate and/or large water changes
- Handling (owner permission)
- Aquatics (fresh/salt) maintenance, water monitoring and care.
- Special medical care (if needed, may be extra)
If you have an exotic animal or speciality enclosure that requires special care in your absence, please send us a detailed message with species name, habitat information (pics) and desired care. This will help AF~LA provide you with a more accurate quote for care.
Strictly cat visits
Visits for your cat(s) are typically 30 minutes, although a longer stay can be requested. Cats are just the best, and we pride ourselves on befriending even the grumpiest or most scared of cats! We recommend twice a day visits if your cat is young, active or just likes a lot of attention.
Strictly cat visits include: feeding, water & litter box maintenance, play, as well as all the love and affection they will tolerate!

- Additional fee may apply based on home location & total number of cats in home
petsitting& house-sitting
We sleepover in your home with your pets -- does it get much better then that? These are great for pets that do not or can not travel, nervous or anxious animals, special needs or senior animals, and animals that require more attention then just daily visits while you're away. We do our best to stick to your desired routine, and always shower them with love!
Fees for overnight stays vary based on your pet's needs and the services you request. Our prices typically range from $65/night for cat sleepovers to $100-$200/night for multi-dog and/or multi-pet households.
- Overnight stays for one dog start at $85/night
- Additional fee will apply based on home location, services requested & total number of animals in the home.
Typical overnight stay & fee includes:
- A 12 hr. stay overnight, typically 9p-9a, plus a midday potty break/walk for dogs
- Morning & evening feedings/walks
- Any other required care like water changes, litter box cleanings, and plant watering
- Additional fees for: extra walks/visits during the day and medication/fluid administration.
strictly Love Visits
These 15-20 minute visits are designed for quick potty breaks, play, snuggle time or just general love. They are for any animal that requires a little more quality time or playtime in your absence.
Also ideal if you are worried that once or twice a day visits might not cut it while you are away, but overnight visits seems like overkill. "Strictly love" visits can be added on to your scheduled services on the fly!
- Typically $15/visit
- Fee will vary based on number of animals, your location and desired time of Strictly Love Visit.
in-home Medical visits
Shorter, 10-15 minute visits to your home for most of your special medical care needs. We provide a detailed update straight to you via text once the medical care is complete, as well as any things worth note regarding changes to your pet's usual attitude or demeanor, their eating/drinking, or even to their normal bathroom routine.
Keep in mind, these services are not limited to just dogs & cats. We have extensive experience medicating many types of animals over the years, including domestic, exotic and native wildlife like birds, snakes and rats. Please contact us for rates. Rates vary based on medical needs.

- Administration of topical or oral medication
- Subcutaneous fluid administration

- Medicated baths
